This Privacy Policy explains how SoftReckon LLC ("SoftReckon," "we," "us") handles information in connection with SoftReckon MONAVEDIT (the "App").
Your videos, audio, and project data are processed entirely on your own device, inside your browser. SoftReckon MONAVEDIT does not upload Your Content to any server as part of normal editing or exporting.
When you import a video or audio file, it is read directly from your device by your browser and kept in local memory for editing and preview. Rendering and export are performed by an in-browser engine (ffmpeg.wasm) that runs entirely on your device. Your Content is never transmitted to SoftReckon's servers.
The App loads its rendering engine from a public content delivery network (unpkg.com) when it first starts. This means your browser makes a request to that third-party host to download the engine files; no part of Your Content is included in that request. Standard technical information such as your IP address and browser type may be visible to that host as with any web request, subject to their own policies.
SoftReckon MONAVEDIT does not currently save your project to a server or account. Project state exists only in your browser's memory for the duration of your session, so refreshing or closing the tab will clear it unless you have exported your work.
The App does not include analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts, and does not use cookies to identify you.
The App is not directed at children and is not knowingly used to collect information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the App evolves — for example, if a future version adds optional cloud saving or accounts. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date.
